​Her career began in a company teaching children how to read and write, targeting success for all children, especially those with dyslexia. In primary schools, she held roles in Learning Support teams as well as EALD (English as an Additional Language), and reading intervention. Her time spent as a Kindergarten teacher allowed her to see the importance of intervention in early childhood and the difference it can make to a child.

 

She has worked with different therapists (Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Educational psychologists, Behavioral optometrists, Behavioral therapists, children's podiatrists, and counsellors) in order to be able to assist children with different abilities and needs.

 

She has a non verbal autistic stepson and has identified a need in the intervention sector for: small group lessons, hands on experiences for the parents or guardians, and lessons tailored to the children's abilities and interests. Here at mosaic kids we are dedicated to creating a community for children and parents to support the transition to school.
